Market Makers, Liskeard

<p dir="ltr">Market Makers is a Liskeard based project established in 2019 which supports local arts and craft makers through promoting their work and providing business support. Market Makers provide support to Liskeard residents who aren’t currently in work via a programme of arts and crafts classes. </p> <p dir="ltr">Arts University Plymouth has supported Liskeard Town Council in developing this initiative since 2019 through the Market Makers Working Group. The project officially launched in 2021 and Arts University Plymouth is providing ongoing partnership support including offering the partnership access to facilities, training, technical support, participation in our <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/research/supported-projects/smart-citizens-programme-scp">Smart Citizens Programme</a>, and access to equipment.</p> <p dir="ltr"><a href="https://www.marketmakers.org.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Find out more about Market Makers on their website.</strong></a><br /></p>
